About Our Parish

St. Elias, of New Castle, PA, is a parish of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America under the leadership of Metropolitan Archbishop Philip Saliba. Our local parish is pastored by the Reverend Father Kevin Gregory Long. Pastor emeritus is The Very Reverend George Brunish.

At St. Elias, our mission is to serve and glorify God in all that we do. We pledge ourselves to the teachings of the Holy Orthodox Christian Church, to the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America, our Metropolitan PHILIP and our Bishop Thomas. We actively seek to share our faith with others and we maintain a continuous vigil for Jesus and all His teachings and an ongoing dedication to renewing, learning and understanding our one true faith.

We are a Pan-Orthodox parish of 115 families and our services are entirely in English. Our faithful are spiritually fed through a complete schedule of worship services, educational programs, and family oriented activities. Please take time to visit our parish through this site.
