About Our Parish

St. Elias, of New Castle, PA, is a parish of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America under the leadership of His Eminence, Metropolitan PHILIP (Saliba), Archbishop of North America and His Grace, Bishop THOMAS (Joseph), Bishop of Charleston and the mid-Atlantic. Our local parish is pastored by the Very Reverend Father Kevin Gregory Long.

At St. Elias, our mission is to serve and glorify God in all that we do. We pledge ourselves to the teachings of the Holy Orthodox Christian Church. We actively seek to share our faith with others and we maintain a continuous vigil for Jesus and all His teachings and an ongoing dedication to renewing, learning and understanding our one true faith.

We are a Pan-Orthodox parish of well over 100 families and our services are entirely in English. Our faithful are spiritually fed through a complete schedule of worship services, educational programs, and family oriented activities. Please take time to visit our parish through this site.
